My ex wife hired Lane as her divorce attorney. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have him as her attorney. He was completely unprepared and didn't know what was going on. His lack of communication and action really weighed in my favor. He didn't seem to know what was going on or the law regarding anything. If you're getting divorced, I'd highly recommend finding a different attorney for your own representation, but definitely suggest that you recommend hiring him for your (soon to be) ex. Seriously though, his incompetence saved me a bunch of money, although it got dragged out so long due to his inability to communicate (he straight up left a zoom meeting with a judge due to a "more important call coming in"). He never prepared any documents or paperwork for his client and seemed to struggle with the concept of responding to an agreement proposal. To make sure I'm clear here, I used a different attorney for my divorce attorney, they were great.
