Working with Evan as my divorce attorney at Weld Riley was the best experience I could have asked for. He's kind to his clients, confident in the court room, very knowledgeable in many areas, helpful and straightforward with the process. I had a great experience with Evan at Weld Riley. He was able to assist us in creating the documents we needed, and answered every question along the way. Everything was done in a timely manner, and communication was clear. Nothing but good things to say about Weld Riley!

Not very impressed. I had Evan Mayer. He was very nice and helped in the beginning but once I paid my retainer it seemed like he really didn't care. He made me feel very stupid most of the time. I didn't go to law school so how was I supposed to know? That's why I hired him, to explain, not belittle. His legal assistant is very wonderful but she knew someone in common with the other party and kept confusing the two. Between the lawyer and his assistant, there were a lot of misspellings and misunderstandings on documents. I had to keep correcting the spelling of my name, and the other parties actual name. When we had to go to court, he didn't seem to fight for me much, he seemed very buddy buddy with the judge and just said yes to everything she said. Didn't seem fair. I'm glad my son's father and I settled right away, because I didn't have much faith in this going any further. Afterwards I had a refund coming back and I had to remind them, they most likely wouldn't have sent it considering it was way past the 30 days they said. Wouldn't come back. Hope they do better with new clients.

Evan was really helpful in walking us through the estate planning process. Very professional, yet easy to approach and talk to. Much appreciated.
