Found this law firm to be ideal for our needs (revocable trust). Matthew DeMark was excellent in explaining every detail involved in very easy language to understand. Very poor experience. I spent one hour with Matt providing him with all the necessary documentation for the purpose of obtaining some advice on the tax consequences of selling some stock in my parents' estate for gifting purposes. It was a simple question, but instead he focused on an immediate annuity owned for 30 years which I quickly confirmed afterward contained no cash value, just as I explained in the meeting. Instead of answering any of my questions directly, he flaunted his degrees. Then he commented that you don't ask a mechanic how to fix your car, so why am I asking him estate tax questions. Even after my email confirmation on the status of the annuity, he never emailed back any advice or recommendation on stock sales. So what impression did I get after this encounter? He is a busy man, don't ask questions, don't question his authority, and don't expect any advice for just a one hour $325 fee. Either pay to play or don't come back. He seemed more about enriching himself than helping a potential client or building a longer term relationship. Eventually, I will need an accountant for more than just a few tactical questions. I presume Matt provides competent services to clients who are willing to leave everything in his hands. However, he was so arrogant and condescending to me during our meeting, I will definitely find someone else to handle my parent's affairs.

Matt was an invaluable resource when it came to protecting my rights interest in my real estate transaction. He is very accessible and diligent.
