Well, I got my very first speeding ticket after 25 years of driving and I was looking at 6 points off my license. I contacted Katz Law, LLC and within two weeks the ticket was amended to a parking/standing where prohibited. Meaning it's now a non-moving violation with 0 points and won't affect my insurance. I hired Katz law after a Pewaukee police offer that was tailgating me pulled me over late at night/ early morning on capital dr. The officer said he pulled me over because I didn't signal to switch lanes. When I had said I had signaled, the officer changed his story and said I was speeding 3 miles back. He asked me 2-3x if I had been drinking/ doing drugs. I had never been pulled over before. Attorney Katz said it was likely he thought because of the time I was out he thought I'd be an easy DUI. He said he would get my ticket moved to a non moving violation, like a parking ticket. He called me the week before the holiday to touch base with what was going on with my case. When I called the law firm the week after the holiday, they transferred me to him. He was apparently on vacation. He was very short with me and told me they offered my ticket to be lowered to a non moving/0 pt turn signal violation. When I asked about dash cam footage, he told me I could only have it if we went to trial. Upon doing research, I found out this is public record and anyone can request it. It would have been fine if I was told he was on vacation and would call me back next week. I wanted to see something in writing. It took a few weeks to see anything in writing. I was shocked the amount of spelling errors this letter had. I called my insurance with the violation and was told my insurance will go up approximately $500/yr x 5 years. Insurance also said it would have gone up just as much with the original ticket. When I reached out to attorney Katz he told me it's just my insurance being "picky". I said no, it's because it's a moving violation that's when he incorrectly told me, "as far as he knows 0pt tickets are non moving." I find it appalling that he's a traffic attorney and doesn't know that all 0pt tickets are NOT non moving violations. If he would have given me the correct information when he told me what was offered, I wouldn't have accepted the offer. I also didn't have enough time from the time they sent the letter and when the violation was due.

The Katz Law Firm, Caleb my number one contact, did an outstanding job processing a speeding ticket that I received after being a considerate driver to other drivers trying to get traffic moving following two detours and road closures. Even though I was speeding, it was not unsafe. I had just gotten on that highway and had traveled less than 1/2 of a mile.
