A few years ago, my health deteriorated to the point where I am unable to work. As I began to research the disability process I realized that I did not have the knowledge or skills to navigate this process by myself. She handled all of the paperwork and communications that's required with Social Security Disability. As we began to fill out the paperwork, it became evident that this process was more intimidating than I imagined. Ms. Lopez accurately described, on my first phone conversation with her, everything that would happen. Carmen Lopez represented me for my SSDI case when no one else would because it would be a difficult win. I would not work with this firm under any circumstances. I had a terrible experience with Larry Johnson, who entered into a contract with me and then ignored my case for months. During that time, I had to repeatedly call and email, and eventually had to escalate the matter to senior leadership just to get him to speak with me. When we finally connected, he attempted to talk me out of the very case he was under contract to handle--after ghosting me for over three months. Now I am left dealing with statutory limitations due to the delay and am forced to find a new attorney. This has been an extremely unprofessional experience, and I would strongly advise others not to work with him or this firm.
