My experience thus far with Davis and Gelshenen has been absolutely horrible. I have been transferred to 3 different attorneys as the previous ones no longer work there. It's very difficult to get in contact with an actual attorney so I end up dealing with the receptionist Jessica who barely helps or has any information to assist. I've been told multiple times that an attorney will call me back and have received nothing after days of waiting and not having transportation. I hired this firm so that they could deal with the insurance company on my claim and consistently find myself having to call the insurance company myself to get results because they are to busy to do so. I have never regretted hiring an attorney as much as I do now and to have to pay them 33% of my settlement for doing absolutely nothing aside from paying medical bills is ridiculous! They have not fought on my behalf at all during this case and have allowed the insurance company to completely run over me even though what they are doing is wrong. I would have been better off representing myself since that's what it feels like I am doing anyway. My engine has gone out yet again on this vehicle that the insurance company refuses to total out and I have still not heard any updates or results from my attorney in regards to providing me with transportation. I would highly recommend not choosing this firm to represent your case. *UPDATE* I received a letter from the hospital that my medical bills have been sent to collections even though we are awaiting settlement. Obviously nothing was done on the attorneys end while dealing with the hospital to prevent this from happening. I called the hospital and they said that no paperwork was sent in to them concerning a settlement from my attorneys. I'm confused...isn't that what I hired them for? Also I was told that my demand for my medical bills would be sent out in the first week of November and that I too would receive a copy. Well is December 15th and still nothing. I contacted the attorneys office and of course nothing has been done yet. The new attorney (attorney #4) that they have assigned to me stated that she doesn't think they sent anything out yet and she will speak with Mr. Davis and let me know the results. I'm really looking forward to knowing why over a month later my demand (which I was told was prepared and ready to send in November) has yet to be sent off so that I can pay these damn medical bills!!
