Research Before Hiring I had a disappointing experience with attorney Kayla Taggart and feel compelled to share my concerns. I initially hired her to assist with a sensitive case involving my child's safety. She requested an initial retainer, which was quickly depleted without clear communication about progress or results. Over several months, I was continuously asked for more money, while court hearings were repeatedly adjourned. Communication was a major issue. Important conversations and legal actions were not clearly explained to me, yet I was billed for them. There were multiple instances where subpoenas were issued but not effectively used. In one instance, I was left alone in the courtroom with an individual I had sought protection from, which was incredibly distressing. Despite my case being urgent, key legal arguments were not made, and jurisdictional issues were not properly addressed. When I raised concerns, I was told I had "lost a lot of time and money," without a clear plan to move forward. The handling of paperwork also seemed disorganized. After six months, my case had not progressed as expected, and I had spent a significant amount of money without meaningful results. I have since reported my concerns to the appropriate legal authorities and am considering arbitration. I am sharing this to encourage others to ask detailed questions before retaining legal counsel. Make sure you understand how fees will be applied, how often you will be updated, and what strategy will be used for your case. I hope this helps others make informed decisions.

Though I decided to partner with a close friend recommended attorney, I wanted to give a shout out to Jennifer! She is awesome! Polite, professional and very informative. Had I not retained a personally recommended attorney, I would have gladly hired this law firm to represent me.

These guys are great so far! I'm currently working with Tiffany and she's been very responsive to both me and my other attorney on another case. Very reasonable pricing compared to other law firms. The paralegal Jennifer has been on top of asking me for all the necessary paperwork to get things rolling. I'm sure they're pulling up a chair and watching the craziness unfold with my son's mother as my other lawyer has. Lol all jokes aside, great team to be working with. Thanks guys!
