I used Lawton Cates for my dog bite case. Andrew Hysell represented me. He was very professional and kept me up-to-date on how the case was going. He looked out for my best interest and got me a fair settlement. I would definitely use Lawton Cates again if needed.

I was lucky to have resources to find the right lawyer for the job. After extensive searching and a recommendation by another attorney, we found Dan Bach to help us with the Village of Mount Pleasant's threats to acquire our property using eminent domain for the Foxconn project. I believe that simply having Attorney Bach in our corner prevented the Village from following through with a taking. And, with Attorney Bach's help, we were able to negotiate a more favorable settlement with the Village than it had originally offered.
Additionally, Attorney Bach offered a very favorable fee arrangement that saved us thousands of dollars in the end.
If faced with the threat of eminent domain, I recommend you hire Dan Bach and Lawton & Cates.

Attorney Stingl from Lawton and Cates represented the buyers side of a real estate transaction for the purchase of my property. Mr Stingl was very unprofessional and drug out the case for 25 days due to his lack of prompt response costing the seller thousands of dollars. This attorney comes highly unrecommended!

Attorney Stegall is top notch. I did not have the easiest case, in my opinion, but he breezed through it like a true professional. Highly recommend.

Michael Stingl's style is to be disrespectful, sarcastic, berate people & be downright mean. This is not the type of character you want representing child custody cases. He will cost both sides a boatload of money because he never stops talking and is continually repeating himself.
