He was appointed by the courts to mediate the custody of our two daughters. He took the money and then did not do what was expected of him. When I would ask him if he had interviewed any of my references, something he is madated to do he would respond with rude emails and then tells me he dont put any stock in them. How is he supposed to determine what kind of father I am? In the end, I decided to let him know I was going to report him for misconduct. After getting upset the next day, he asked what I wanted and gave me exactly that, because he clearly knew he would have issues explaining his emails if I reported him. Then, after it was over and he was no longer on the case, my ex was not happy with the results and ran up her own bill, which she did not pay, so he came after me for the money , eventually filing papers to go to court, something he had no chance of winning. In the end he calls me the day of court and says he has better things to do, and he is dropping the whole $400 case.

I was very Happy and impressed with my first consultation. Attorney Hoff listened to all of my concerns and then addressed my options. Including the fact that his junior partner would be a better fit for me because she could help me handle my situation and would cost me a lot less money than hiring him. That impressed me that his main priority wasn't the money he could make from me!!

Divorce is never something I would recommend, but when it does happen I would definitely recommend Hoff Law Offices. More personally, Amy Matuszak. Divorce made me feel sore, broken, and lost. Amy was able to keep me calm enough to explain how my case would proceed. Mostly, I trusted Amy. She not only was compassionate to me but to my ex-husband and our children. She is fair and she looked out for my needs: my needs for today and my needs for tomorrow. Needs I wasn't even aware of. Amy knows her law and she practices it well. I will forever be grateful to how Amy handled my divorce. I never felt pressured or in an "attack mode." I am now single. I feel confident that life does go on after divorce. In my situation, a divorce that was handled fairly and with respect. Because of Hoff Law I feel "whole" again. I feel that I was cared about, I feel like I "matter."
