I recently hired Brent Copenhaver to review a potential business contract. When I first spoke with Brent he indicated that he had significant experience with the areas of concern in the contract. His review provided no specific recommendations and suggested he rewrite the entire contract. He billed me for 15 hours of research. A subsequent 5 minute conversation with a colleague recommended DC lawyer provided me true information that Brent did not provide despite $4000 and hours of research. He grossly misrepresented his abilities and experience as well as his intended charges.
