I have to say this office had the least professional billing experience I've encountered--and I've been to several dentists due to moving around frequently. When my insurance changed, I called ahead to confirm whether I'd need to pay anything out of pocket for my routine checkup. The front desk staff took my insurance information, assured me they'd check, and promised to call me back before my appointment. However, I never received a call. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk staff informed me that they had looked into it online and found no difference between in-network and out-of-network coverage. Based on that information, I proceeded with my routine cleaning and even scheduled an appointment for my husband, who has the same insurance. Weeks later, I received a bill: $100 for my cleaning and $450 for my husband's first-time checkup (not even a cleaning!). When I called to inquire, the staff vaguely explained that it might be due to the office being out-of-network. They said they would follow up with the insurance company and get back to me. Yet again, I received no follow-up. I had to call back myself, and they asked if I could contact the insurance company directly. After speaking with my insurance company, I learned that the charges were due to the office being out-of-network, which caused the costs to exceed the allowed amount. When I asked how I could have known this beforehand, the insurance company explained that providers must check this information with them before the appointment to get an accurate breakdown. While I understand that the insurance website breakdown was somewhat misleading, I expected the dental office to handle this as part of their routine practice. I'm not aware of all the complexities with insurance, which is why I called ahead and provided my insurance details. That was the whole reason I reached out beforehand. This lack of professionalism and communication is frustrating. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and my routine checkup went well. However, the billing experience left much to be desired, and I don't feel confident returning for future visits.

I've been with Dr. Nulph since he went into his private practice. He has a great support staff and he always informs you how things look, if there are possible upcoming issues and if there is an issue he presents you with options you can decide on. I've always felt comfortable going to his office.

I have had nothing but the best experience every time I've gone in! best customer service by far and this whole team really tenders to your needs! Ashley from scheduling is a blessing the hygenists are so gentle and go the extra mile! Also I've never had a pleasant experience with getting my teeth numb! So really thank you! BTW best filling I've ever had and it looks and feels great!! Thanks for being people who truly care

As usual, I find this office very comfortable from the minute I walk in until I leave. Ashley greets me with a welcome smile and is more than willing to keep me company for the few minutes it takes until my appointment. This time a new, to me, dental assistant, Mary, was in charge of the cleaning. She was very competent. She explained gum recession, why some teeth seem to get more tartar than others, sensitivities and other concerns. She did this looking at me to see that I was understanding.... not while she was cleaning. This, of course, took more time, but there was never any indication that she had to hurry. Thank you great people!!!!

I strongly recommend Dr. Nulph's office!! He is very gentle, careful and takes his time to do the most natural look and shade on every treatment. He explains the treatment clearly and with detail. He is very knowledgeable and knows the right place for referrals if needed. The atmosphere is calming. I trust Dr. Nulph to take care of my teeth and my family's.
