Would highly recommend The Scott Law Firm! Colin and Leslie were so great to work with. After my car accident, I felt so overwhelmed, but reaching out to Colin was the best decision. He was so responsive, professional, and I felt supported and taken care of throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated how approachable and knowledgeable they both were. They made a difficult situation so much easier to get through, and I'm very grateful for all their help. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to anyone in need of legal support.

Great experience with Mr. Scott, he willingly represented me even though my case was in Oregon. He was super helpful in helping me understand all the legal aspects as it was my first time hiring a lawyer. Will definitely be reaching out to him again if i find my self in a similar situation. - Jorge Andrade

Colin and Leslie are truly amazing. They created calmness in such a stressful time in my life. Leslie went above and beyond working with my doctors offices and negotiating the lien's for medical bills. Colin was genuine and kind right from the start of working together, something I appreciated after so much stress and anxiety. They made this process manageable and I can not recommend their services enough!

Colin Scott was absolutely wonderful to work with. My case was truly one of a kind -- having to explain to hearing people why hands are so vital for someone who is Deaf is no easy feat. Colin embraced this challenge with patience, empathy, and an open mind. He took on a hard case and, because of his dedication and skillfully navigating Deaf culture, his work translated into a win -- we won our suit and achieved the best results. Throughout the process, Colin showed incredible integrity, going above and beyond to make sure communication was smooth, accessible, and respectful every step of the way. I'm so grateful for his commitment and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who truly cares.

★★

Since Colin felt compelled to be condescending in his response to my last review I figured that I would delete it and post one less cryptic. "It's like getting a haircut then complaining..." Facts- The date OCT 2024 was put on the first line of the first paragraph in TWO letters to the insurance adjuster. When I pointed this out his response was cavalier. I let it slide. I understand that you should have the confidence in your paralegal to not need to read docs you sign, but between 2 sets of eyes no one caught this. Colin didn't realize I'd told him of my intentions filing a complaint to OIC even though I did twice via email. When I told him the dates of the emails, he then saw it. This implied he didn't read my emails fully. Not the feeling one wants as a client who they claim is important. One of them was asked to get something from me on August 8th. I wasn't asked for it until Sept 17th. Hence, dropping the ball specifically. When I filed the complaint against the insurance adjuster for stall tactics. The documentation provided by the OIC from the insurance company painted a very different picture from the way things were presented to me. I read the correspondence the insurance company sent to the firm. I literally, and I am using that word correctly, wrote to the adjuster and apologized for filing the complaint. When I see all these oversights and lapses in communication I'm not going to have full confidence. Of course I am going to second guess advice especially after I get an email completely agreeing with me and wanting to fwd my email to the adjuster, then in the very next email telling me we can sidestep and give them more than they requested. In August-Sept they'd requested bank statements for a wage loss. And if Leslie was keeping up with the EOBs, she'd seen the medical was being processed. They declared the car totaled. The adjuster read medical records to approve claims. So, why, in October, would the adjuster need to see a CD Rom with proof of injuries and doctor's note to miss work? When they didn't ask. According to the adjuster- she needed to confirm my deposits were LESS for the month of the accident. It wasn't for me to prove I made a certain salary to justify amount of PIP I would be entitled to. Hence why I kept pointing out unreasonable requests for a small amount. Now, considering all the above to be true, was my frustration and dwindling confidence unjust? I'm not going to say don't work with them. I believe the good reviews are real. This is my experience and it's reviewed accordingly. The way that people handle criticism and respond to negative reviews is very telling. And, what professional uses emojis when communicating with their client? That's not someone I trust to lay down the law and get the settlement done. And if I'm on the opposite end getting the wrong dates on correspondence that's gonna give me leverage over attention to detail and as an attorney I'm going to take advantage of that. Best to just own mistakes and do better for the next person instead of using semantics and snarky comments.
