**Stay away from this firm!!** ~I do not leave one star reviews lightly~ I'm embarrassed to have to say that I was almost duped by this attorney into representing me, but she did get a ton of money from me. I was with them throughout a retainer and a half and 8 months later for a childless, asset-less divorce. I left their firm with next to no work done that I didn't do the majority of on my own and only the initial petition having been filed and paid a retainer and a half. I tried to professionally converse with Elizabeth about fees and time frames during the case, and she suddenly withdrew her representation, without any discussion, through an email where she neglected to take any responsibility for her office's inactivity during my duration under their counsel. Even through the inactivity on my case, the fees kept rolling in for reading emails multiple times as well as multiple people reading the same email multiple times. Elizabeth also charged me to tell the court she wasn't going to be in office, and charged me for the people to prepare and file that same copy paste document with changed dates. I was nickel and dimed, that's all I can say. I will say that with as easily as she gave in after an email requesting clarification about charges and how I felt that my case was being put on the back burner, I'm glad to see she won't be representing me in court now, as she would likely give up as easily in court as she seemed to wither and run away after just one email. Steer clear of Elizabeth Christy and find better representation elsewhere, you'll thank yourself.

We first retained Elizabeth for parenting plan modification in 2011 after meeting with several different lawyers in the area. From the start Elizabeth put us at ease with her knowledge and confidence and we felt right away that she was the right person to represent us. She made the court process easy to manage and kept us up to date on any new challenges or questions regarding our case, while also managing costs. Since 2011, we have had to return to court several times and there is no-one else we would go to for our needs. During our most recent court case she navigated us through a rather complex case including child support, post-secondary support, and parenting plan modification. During this time, we were able to work also with her associate Jeremy who did an excellent job working with all the information we gave him and helping to construct a concise and professional statement for the courts. She was always efficient about keeping us informed and responding to our questions and concerns. She was upfront and honest about expectations and did not "over-promise" what we knew would be a difficult case. Despite this, she fought hard for us and in the end we are extremely happy with the result. She will not allow herself to be pushed around or manipulated by opposing counsel, and will not get flustered by their inappropriate comments, accusations or requests. We all know that divorce and custody disputes can be quite emotional and ugly, and it was a relief to have representation that put professionalism as a priority while at the same time ensuring that all of the pertinent information is provided for the court. We have also been able to view Elizabeth represent us in court on several occasions during this case, as well view several other attorneys in the area, and I can say in full confidence that we chose correctly and had the very BEST attorney to represent us. I would not hesitate to refer friends and family to her firm, in fact we already have!

I would highly recommend her (and have to friends and family) as an attorney!!!! She is very fair, I used her in a custody case with my son back in 2012 and I loved working with her. She communicates and keeps you in the loop. She explains the process (in language you understand), what to expect and the outcome. My son was recently adopted by my husband and we had to use a different attorney, that did not communicate with us, did not do things in a timely manner and over all was very frustrating! Something that should have taken a month to two months to complete took five months! Also, was told one fee and ended up being double! It made me appreciate my first experience with Elizabeth! Knowing that not all attorneys are like the one we dealt with. We recently asked her to represent us in a child support case and I am so thankful for her being able to do it. She is human and easy to talk to and explain things to, with no judgement. She truly cares and wants to help! In both cases she made sure that it was affordable and we really appreciate that being a family of five! If we need to use her in the future she is our number one to go to! I also will continue to send people her way if need be!

Elizabeth is absolutely fantastic. I had a difficult child custody case, and I don't believe I could have obtained the results I did without her expert guidance. She is easy to work with, gives honest advice and guidance, and the quality of her work and her results are exceptional. She's also got a great group of people working with her, and every step of the way I felt like I knew what was going on, what I needed to be working on, and what was going to happen next. If your goal is achieving the best possible outcome for you and your family, you could not have anyone better on your side than Elizabeth Christy.

Elizabeth Christy is simply an amazing attorney. She was compassionate and listened carefully to me. She was fair and nonjudgmental. She was excellent every step of the way, from explaining the confusing parts of the process, to helping me strategize the best steps to take, and finally she was outstanding when she advocated on my behalf in front of the judge. She is both very honest and frank, and yet will work hard to get the best outcome. With her help I won most of my positions against a very aggressive opponent who had secretly been building a case against me for years. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone- anyone except my opposing party!
