I hired Nelson and Associates after my car accident in January of 2025. In only seven months, Troy negotiated a substantial settlement. Troy is knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate. I highly recommend!

I invested my time talking about legal serves with him, then when I was ready to take action, he disappeared. I called multiple times and sent a few emails, and he never responded leaving me hanging. Very unprofessional. Looking at other reviews that seems to be his behavior. He seems to be unreliable. Update to my first post. I see Troy responded by blaming me which appears to be totally untrue. I sent an email on 1/10/24 Friday and he responded on 1/13/24 Monday saying he was busy and would call me in the morning. I don't see any records of him calling or emailing afterwards. I sent him 3 polite emails and left around 3 polite voicemails over the next month, and he never responded, but he was able to respond to a negative review within 24 hours with a misleading respond that it was my fault. I don't get it. If it was me, I would have called and apologized, but this shows his level of integrity.

We retained Troy Nelson to help us fight for our home..what a joke! He never followed through and got us into a worse mess than what we had retained him for! We reported him to the Bar Association and retained an attorney to go after him for malpractice..lack of representation and taking our money and doing NOTHING with it! Do not hire this man! Best of luck to you if he's your attorney..go elsewhere!!!

Absolutely useless, 3 months ago we retained Troy to fight for us against Veritas Global Warenty for breaking contract. In the last 3 months he has sent out 1 single letter and responded to a total of 4 emails out of the dozen that we sent him. He never answered the phone, he wasn't in the office, and he will NOT communicate with you. When he finally did respond to emails they were snippy, uninformative (filled with excuses), and condescending. After paying the $500 retainer fee we only recieved $140 back... soo it took almost 2 hours to write a letter and respond to 4 emails? I would never recommend this law office, and I hope this review stears you away from going through the same headaches and frustrations.

I'm a lawyer, I've known Troy for decades and the poor reviews here are obviously from unqualified sources. Troy is a great lawyer, I only found these bad reviews as I was trying to refer someone to him. Hire Troy with confidence, I would.
