Mr Stowell was the most unprofessional attorney I have ever had to deal with. From the beginning, Mr. Stowell was the kind of attorney that thought more about his pay check and less about his clients. I had to call him several times over a one month period to just find out what the status of my case. Calling him and leaving messages is the norm. Once he did get back to me, he gave me the excuse that he was sick and that he would be refunding part of my retainer. Guess what? That didn't happen!!! He also said that he would send me a receipt of the work rendered. That too didn't happen. It's now been over half a year and still no word from Mr Stowell. So, if this sounds like a great attorney, then Mr Stowell is your guy. If you would like a trustworthy attorney, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I would rate Mr. Stowell less than poor.

Failed to submit paperwork to the courts. Charged me nevertheless. His errors cost me tens of thousands. I used him because I knew he and his wife from church. Despite being warned by mutual friends that he's nice personally but a horrid attorney. Avoid at all costs! Self representation is better than his representation.

This lawyer is a joke. First off my ex husband hired him to help take away my daughter who's had no part in her father life since the day she was conceived. He's rude and never calls back or emails back. He showed up to court last min to withdraw from our case after trying to charge me on top of charging my ex. He's no family lawyer, he cares more about every dime and buckle he can get and not what's best for the children involved in these cases.

This Guy is a crook! Was largely unavailable for my case and stole my money. Should be dis-barred! Very unethical and terrible communicator. Do yourself a favor and choose another attorney. Never returned my retainer fee and never provided me a billing statement. Never give him any money upfront!

Keep looking...mess he created unreal ! Extremely poor legal advice. Unprepared at court date and Motion of Contempt never mentioned, offered or filed. Extreme bad choice !
