Rossiter Georgia

If I could give -stars I would. My husband and I went to see Georgia after my stepsons mother died of an overdose. My stepsons maternal grandmother was seeking custody. Georgia was highly unprofessional from the minute we met her. She didn't shake our hands, welcome us, introduce herself. She was rude and unkind. No consideration for the extremely difficult and stressful situation we were in. She completely brushed Me (the child's stepmom) off and acted as if nothing I asked, said or did mattered in any way. She strayed off topic multiple times. My husband got the hiccups and she said "You know, that's really annoying" as if he had some control over it. I was appalled at our experience at this law firm. Waste of money to say the very least. Definitely do not recommend.

Obnoxious personality, very off putting. She isn't welcoming and likes to hear herself talk, and will intrude on, and/or monopolize the entire conversation. She blurts out her opinions or remarks without regard for whether those remarks are appropriate or insensitive. I believe she isn't able to differentiate when she's in a court room trying to win a case or talking to her own potential client. Perhaps it was my age or race that was not taken seriously, I do not know, because I chose her based of positive reviews and I was extremely disappointed I paid her to be insulted. Several times she was off topic during the consultation and offended me and almost debated with me on my personal beliefs... in which I suggest she do research on because she was incorrect. Very quick to get you in & out so she can get money out of you. I do not recommend. On a positive side, the woman at the front desk was very sweet.

To Whom it May Concern: This letter is in response to the inept business practices of my divorce attorney, Georgia Rossiter, who practices law in Winchester, VA. I write this letter as an unhappy client and to hopefully hinder her from hurting another client in the tenuous and stressful time of divorce. Ms. Rossiter excels at poor communication and incompetence as a legal practitioner. For example, Ms.Rossiter denied my request for a meeting for a period of four months; when I tried to schedule an appointment, her paralegal spoke in condescension towards me, always stating, "I will let her know". Ms. Rossiter negotiated terms of my divorce which did not benefit me in any way. My children live 120 miles away from my home and my attorney did not address a halfway meeting point for weekend visitations; transportation became my sole responsibility, which negatively impacted my children. Ms. Rossiter did not consider my financial viability during my divorce process; which in turn, exposed me to bankruptcy and foreclosure of my business. Ms. Rossiter never once proposed best and worst case scenarios for me to consider during my divorce process. I propose her lack of consideration of my best interests may be politically fueled, which is sad, considering her goal should be just the opposite. Ms. Rossiter withheld instruction of best practices and should be accountable for her incompetency.

She's not like typical lawyers. She is honest and upfront with you. Not a lawyer to give you false hope an dreams! She is damn good at what she practices an when she doesn't know something she doesn't take your case just to milk money out of you!

she's a beast. There is no opposition as thorough so when the bell rings, make sure Georgia is in your corner!
