Not a great experience trying to get an update to our currently existing end-of-life documents. Just wanted to make a few changes, made a phone call to him, and and as per his request, sent him all our existing documents along with a letter completely spelling out what we wanted to do. The problems began during our two week later phone consult, when Mr. Vondy acted as if we had no idea what a Will was, and actually said "let me educate you on what a Will can and cannot do." Interrupted him to confirm we already know all this and just wanted updates and asked if he had read everything we sent him. He acknowledged receiving our documents, but then asked how we spelled our last name...what? Instantly obvious he had not looked at anything we sent as our name is at the top of every single page. Ended our conversation, told him we would look for an attorney elsewhere. Would I go there again...no. We want an attorney who works with you to accomplish your goals, not an attorney who has their own agenda. Would I recommend...no. Not unless you have never had anything done, and can afford to spend lots of time being educated on everything he might prepare for you.

Mr. Vondy assisted us in the oversight of builders who constructed a new home for us in Winchester. It was an excellent relationship in all respects - high level of competency, responsive, and a good value. I highly recommend him.
