My father went to the hospital emergency room, only to be discharged and unexpectedly pass away in his vehicle. Oct. 24th 2025 I experienced terrible news that my husband passed away after being discharged from our local hospitals ED in Danville, VA. in our vehicle in the ED parking lot. This was heartbreaking and much unexpected to say the least. I was put in contact with Attorney Stephen Baker who has a heart of gold and has been such a blessing to me and our family. He introduced me to this law firm that is presently helping my family during this devastating time. The hospital has been very uncooperative in answering any of our questions. Our attorney is making progress that I alone was unable to do and I cannot thank them enough for their progress. Hopefully we will soon have some answers as to why he was being seen and what the ED did to treat him the seven hours he was there before being discharged. It's bad enough loosing the love of my life that was a great man but to then be denied my legal rights to his medical records has added so much more pain and suffering on a daily basis as well as many rude employees I've spoken with that should not have happened at any point and time. I have much confidence now that they have taken our case that things will be resolved in a much more timely manner.
