If they had a 0 would ABSOULETY give that!! The most disrespectful and nasty attitude so called professionals I have EVER dealt with in my life!! Especially the collections department!! No return phone calls, no help, does NOT listen to what your saying, heartless, uncaring and belittling people I HAVE EVER dealt with in my life!!! Everything is always your fault and they are always right NO MATTER what!! Definitely fits the stereo type of lawyers!!! I'm sure I'll have to pay them something for a free google review.....

I'll leave one star for now, but honestly this place is a joke. I've been waiting on a call about an urgent matter and haven't heard a thing. If they can't handle something important in a timely manner, that says everything about how unprofessional and unreliable they are.

****BEWARE OF THE $1,000 + consult and threats if you don't pay it in 36 hours of receipt regardless if you have signed a contract or not**** I contacted OPN for a consultaion for an upcoming home purchase and some issues we were experiencing. The requested documents were sent and reviewed by an associate. A call to discuss our options to move forward was had. There was a medical emergency with one of my children hours after the phone call which resulted in me being unavailable for 48 hours. In that 48 hours I had multiple missed calls from the associate which I was unable to return at the time. She then called my husband threatening to put a lien on the house we were getting ready to close on the next day. She was beyond rude and threatening. She didn't seem to understand life can go a little sideways at times. She repeatedly threatened him with liens and garnishment for an invoice sent 36 hours before. She emailed an invoice for over $1,000 for the consultation. It was definitely an expensive lesson. I do not recommend even contacting the firm. We need to redo our will, advance directives, and set up a trust plus a few other housekeeping legal things. I will absolutely be finding a different office to work with after this experience. It was quite the welcome to Virginia.

We came to OPN law for a custody battle and they were honestly the biggest waste of $2,500. Mark Kidd simply didn't listen to ANY of my husbands requests or concerns. He didn't fight for him at all. He couldn't even be bothered to have a court date changed when we said that wouldn't work for our schedule because we wouldn't be in town. My husband had to bail on plans to be in court when we had our plans for 6 months or so in advance. He didn't call or communicate at all. Please please please consider a different attorney! I highly recommend Debbie Bono but sadly she doesn't do family court. I will never recommend this firm to ANYONE.

I have used the firm for a multitude of things over the years. They are great at what they do and are excellent at staying efficient to create value throughout their billable hours. Both Compton Biddle and Kristen Johnstone have proven excellence to me. I would highly recommend either. The only reason that I am giving them 5 stars is because 6 stars is not available.
