When my uncle died recently and we were in the middle of closing on the sale of his home, we were at a complete loss. Riddle and Hannah were recommended and we are so happy! Not only did they lead us through this challenging time, they did so with excellence and such kindness. Heather Forbes, the paralegal goes above and beyond to take care of every detail. They helped us probate the will and get to the closing table again before we lost our buyers. We highly recommend Mr Riddle, Ms Hannah and this firm for any of your legal needs. My husband and I are very pleased with Riddle and Hanna PLC. we did our immigration process with them and in 6 month we received approval. She was incredibly kind and supportive, and I felt truly cared for throughout the process. Sandra is a real gem in this company, and I am so grateful for her assistance. Ms. Hanna was also very nice and professional. I will definitely use their services again in the future and I can't recommend them enough to the people who are about to start this process. I gave very honest reviews. i had a meeting a few months back with Mrs. Hanna and it really went left field. I contacted her the first time, i stay sitting in a conference room over an hour, they did give me a water. She sent her assistant in because she was busy, i patiently sat for an 1 hour period no problem. I beliefly met her and waved hello, that was it but the assistant took lengthy notes and detailed everything. I thought they help me, so I paid the money in full for her to get started a few days after I left. it went 2 months or more and noboody reached out, a few emails asking for basic things like addresses and phone numbers. So, i wondered wow, if I dont get started it will long and drawn out. So I called for new appointment, when in and talk this time with her directly. We sat going over all the same indormation I discussed with her assistant. I realized nothing had been done she was playing catch and very lost on all my matters. So everything this time I requested out of my divorce, she refused, property distribution issues and other monies my ex was responsible stating barely nothing. I told her since none of what I need her to work on she refused, so I requested all my money back. She sent over her listed deductions while overcharging me for doing nothing. It was not until I began to explain my properties and possessions the dynamics of conversation changed from her helping me as a real attorney to no I cant help you with this, I cant help you with that. Very biased or racially driven behavior. I am a successful black business owner for 10 years, I hold a masters of Divinity which is the study of God, property owner and I do think I been mishandled. She told me "I am not going to make your husband pay for bills and things you have" while everything business or not was used to take care of family." I instantly ended the meeting and requested my refund since nothing i asked she help with. She overcharged me for having the same meeting discussing the same thing that her assistant discussed which made me realize no real work was done in months on my case. She charged me 400.00 for the visit and over 200.00 for printing a 3 page divorce complaint and a copy of a property settlement agreement with none of my information. I ask you all of color or different color of skin becareful because she made me feel like i did not matter because of it. She was not going to help after me discuss me having material things such as a residence in Africa and the other here in America. Totally changed her demeanor towards me. After I received the remainder of my funds I wrote her a long email discussing this and asking her to place it in my files so if state or locals ask they know details, yes I refused to sign her office constent of release and chose to write a email in my own dialog of her being fired. She much rather to want to paint a picture while it was her refusing to help a black woman. I say to everyone, because of which attorneys you use to ensure you treated fairly, not by the color of your skin but by your case and whats rightfully yours. Not every attorney will do justice but work against you for matters, slavery has been long gone by laws, we as blacks can own property and carry possesions and noboby should discrimate against us. I have yet to receive a sincere apology from Riddle Hanna and probably never will but in all of this. I hope she placed my email in my file as a reminder of how to treat people, she did not know my background and prejudged or was racial in actions towards me. I can only pray the world changes from these kinds of people being biased towards other for reasons within not by the person at heart they are. Its important to choose your attorneys carefully and wisely before you get those that act like they helping but take your money. I could never live with myself if I dont take a stand to tell people to do what right. I pray that this lady know now and change. Its sad the world is like this!
