I hired Michael Huff after receiving a reckless driving ticket for 92 in a 55, and I was genuinely facing serious jail time. By the time my case went to court, after my third continuance, everyone in that courtroom was being sentenced to jail, including people who were going much slower than I was. Sitting there, watching that happen, I was absolutely terrified. I knew that if I relied on a public defender, I would almost certainly be going to jail. I retained Michael because I had seen him work before, and I trusted him, but even then, the situation felt overwhelming. I was charged with reckless driving by speed, reckless driving for driving too fast for conditions, and an expired inspection sticker. Michael was able to get both the "too fast for conditions" charge and the expired inspection charge completely dismissed in court. While the reckless driving by speed charge did remain, because the officer had laser evidence, Michael guided me every step of the way with clear, calm, and incredibly smart advice that helped secure the best possible outcome.
