Mr. Peters was my attorney through a very difficult and lengthy several-year-long divorce & custody battle. As a young man he was beyond encouraging and factual and always made an effort to steer me in the right direction. He never made a promise he couldn't keep, and was always upfront with me from the start. I remember he would always say, "We are the party that has class. Let's keep it that way" whenever emotions were high. He genuinely cared about my child and was always consistent in making it all about her. While on retainer, he allowed open dialogue whenever I needed it and had questions and he was highly responsive. I wouldn't have the parenting time that I have now had it not have been for Gordon. If I could leave 6 stars I would. I absolutely recommend him especially for divorce & family court!

A serious family matter arose that carried with it the potential for significant legal ramifications, we were unprepared and emotionally compromised. A bad experience. He always treated me very badly. He was very unpleasant every time I went to his office and acted as if he forgot everything. He just took my money.

Gordon is an honest, friendly, hard working guy. He doesn't promise you things he can't deliver. He works hard to do everything he can to get you the best outcome. He isn't condescending. He is articulate in the court room. He applies The Golden Rule to everything he does. He is from Lynchburg and knows the people and local culture. I wouldn't hire anyone else to represent me. I highly recommend.
