It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. I will be the first one to offer grace and understanding. However, when negligence turns into a large problem 17 years later, I just want to ensure that another home owner doesn't fall into the same problem as we did In 2007 we refinanced a line of credit and our mortgage. Went to settlement and paid off the line of credit. What didn't happen is the notification of the title company that this has been done. Now, we are supposed to Close on our property in a couple of days, and cannot because of this large delay. Because of the age and which we refinanced 17 years ago, they were unable to find us. They finally found us. But again with no restitution as to how to solve the problem, our current title company and us as homeowners to do all the legwork for them. Homeowners should not have to follow up on the professionals that we've entrusted in matters, such as these!
