When I went for my first appointment, I didn't even know if I had a case. I had been rear-ended over a year prior and was still having to get physical therapy for my shoulder; and I was still experiencing tingling and numbness in my hand/arm. Peter had me go to a spine doctor based on my symptoms and I'm so glad he did. After getting the MRI results, I was lucky my head was still attached....I had several vertebrae which were sitting on the spinal cord. Needless to say, I had spinal surgery to fuse 3 of my vertebrae within weeks. While I was mending, Peter with the help of his assistant team, gathered my medical records, time cards, receipts for doctor appointments and physical therapy so he was able to negotiate with the other driver's insurance and get the full amount the driver was insured. As it was not going to cover long-term costs of PT, we decided to work with my insurance company. It was a hard negotiation, we almost went to court, but was able to settle with an amount slightly higher than I had told Peter was my requested amount. They are a great team and communicate with you on everything. Make sure you understand your options and support your decision.
