First - this group did manage to help me reduce a serious traffic issue to a much smaller infraction which was fantastic and genuinely appreciated. However, I felt unprepared and like I did not matter to this team. I had no information prior to my court date as to what to expect. I never met any lawyers from the group and had minimal email communication with Mr. Mann. I emailed the evening before to ensure someone would be there since I hadn't heard from anyone since the day I hired them. I was told to expect a partner outside the courtroom at 9:00. Having never been to court before, I worried I'd be locked out or in trouble if I wasn't in the courtroom on time. Court began at 9:00, so at 8:58, I walked into the room to sit down. I sat in the room for over an hour waiting to be called by the judge. No lawyer tried to find me. I ended up standing and speaking alone in court only for the partner to call and leave me a voicemail saying he had managed to negotiate for a lesser infraction after the judge had declared me guilty on the original, harsher misdemeanor. The lawyer kept saying he said he would have met me outside at 9:00 like that was an excuse or simple miscommunication. The whole thing was extremely stressful and I felt like a nuisance to this team. I appreciate their skill, but I would use someone else in the future.
