I don't believe Derek Whetzel done all he could for me in the past. $4,000 and it was a waste. I found him outside the courthouse laughing and conversing with my ex husband's lawyer. He didn't fight for me but instead seemed as though the ex had two lawyers, one that I was suppose to have and that I was paying for. He was like a cricket in the courtroom. He then sent a bill to me after all was said and done and hadn't done anything. Not a good lawyer in my opinion. Save your money!

Andrew Graves is the guy you want to ensure you receive a fair trial. I was impressed with how thorough he was in reviewing ALL of the evidence and even more impressed with his knowledge of procedural law. Mr. Graves expected the Commonwealth's attorney to fully satisfy the burden of presenting the charges and successfully challenged repeated attempts to subvert procedure or argue inadmissible testimony. And when testimonies conflicted, he responded IN THE MOMENT, by boiling the situation down to a few important facts. Mr. Graves presented a convincing closing statement that should have been televised as he stood up and immediately clarified facts that required a ruling exonerating me of all charges. The judge basically restated Mr. Graves' closing argument in rendering his decision adding that the Commonwealth's Attorney had failed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. You want Andrew Graves in your corner. Thank you, Andrew, for taking control of a serious situation for me.
