She's extremely unprofessional and rude. Her judgmental attitude makes interactions with her unpleasant. She even spoke badly about her client and their relatives, which is not only completely unacceptable, but extremely disrespectful. It's clear she's miserable, and it would be best for everyone if she retired. Take up meditation and find a therapist
She did an excellent job in court in regards to the protective order and custody hearing. She was aggressive and professional. Was able to get everything I was asking with her help and the kids GAL. I would recommend her to anyone. Don't expect to be handheld the whole time. You will have your own responsibilities to do. She cannot do her job successfully unless you provide her everything she ask of you.
Terrible client experience. Ended up having to file a cease and desist and close my custody case myself since my lawyer (The Ruple) ignored my requests to close the case for weeks. Dawn Ruple has one agenda: how much money can she extort from you before you realize she doesn't have your best interests in mind.
I had a consultation with Ms. Ruple 2 years ago and paid her fee. Since then, I have a had problem that just needed an attorney to write a letter. It would have been a simple thing to do and her staff said that she could probably help. She won't even return a call or provide a referral. It is a serious matter regarding an adolescent and extreme bullying and just needs a letter written. If she can't give the courtesy of a return call even saying "no," I have no confidence that she would represent me well in family court. If I have to return to court, it won't be with her as my representation since courtesy to paying customers doesn't seem to be a concern to her.
