David Downs is unlike any attorney I've ever worked with. He is attentive, makes sure his clients know what's going on and what's being negotiated. He has a great personality and keeps things organized and to the point. I would recommend him to anyone in need of criminal defense. He is incredibly smart and reduced all of my charges down to the very best possible outcome. I wasted money on other attorneys who never worked that hard for me in the past. I wish I would have found him much sooner. He is worth whatever the cost may be because he actually cares about his clients not just taking their money and getting the minimum representation. You will get the best there is with him.

David is an incredible lawyer, we just had court on monday and he got me off of a felony hit and run. Our court date ran much longer than it should have and he ended up being late for his court case in Shenandoah county. The lady who posted below saying he was late....it was because of my court date, and was completely unavoidable. Watching this man work in the court room is like something strait out of a movie. He is intelligent, he is eloquent, and he spends extensive time with his clients to make sure that you feel well taken care of and always know exactly what's going on with your case. This is only one of SEVERAL times David has represented me. He has gotten me off of multiple drug charges and if it wasnt for him i would have most certainly spent years of my life in jail. I truly cant say enough about him and how much i would recommmend him to anyone for a criminal attorney. 5 stars, best lawyer around!! Dont risk your life in the hands of anyone else!!

My opinion and personal experience: He is late to court dates, doesn't call or text for any updates on your case. Didn't even remember any details about the case we were paying him for. Want a reliable attorney? Hire John O'Neil.
