Case Mishandled - No Attorney Reviewed I submitted a clear inquiry about a potential medical malpractice claim involving improper discharge. I cited Virginia regulation 18VAC85-20-28, which requires written notice and time to secure alternate care before a provider terminates the patient relationship. Instead of reviewing the facts, I was referred to a VA disability attorney, despite making no mention of benefits or VA law in my message. After following up, no one corrected the intake error. This was a malpractice claim with a documented breach, immediate harm, and legal basis. It should've been reviewed properly. If your team isn't willing to evaluate clearly stated claims--or pass them to someone who can--that should be made transparent up front.
