If nothing else, the fact that even after 9 years I still felt compelled to leave this review should tell you something about the outstanding legal services provided by The Law Firm of Erin L.T. Ranney. One day, way back in 2015, on my way back to NC from an amazing day spent at Busch Gardens, VA I was stopped for a traffic violation. Literally asked why, and was answered by officer awesome, literally in the form of a Virginia Uniform Summons, requiring me by law to return to VA for a "chat" with the local magistrate and my new friend. Being a law-abiding citizen with a clean driving record you can imagine the panic I felt now being faced with charges that could result in me skipping a couple steps, facing the real possibility of now having a criminal record in Virginia. Short version is, after contacting The Law Firm of Erin L.T. Ranney requesting legal advice/representation, Erin talked me through my panic and calmed me down, went over next steps, and advised on what we would now do to move forward. A couple weeks later, she represented me in VA and was able to prove my case and reduce the severity and penalties that my new, overzealous friend, Officer Awesome thought I needed as a parting gift leaving VA. Can't speak highly enough about the services provided and the peace of mind that came with it. I can say, that without Erin's help I would not be where I am now in life. I wouldn't have my career, possibly my mortgage, or the clarity I've had since the experience. Her and her team are very literally, my lifesavers. Thank you so much!

We hired Mr. Paul Ranney to handle a small estate settlement. We in writing agreed to a year. A year goes by with excuses yet still nothing. I had inquired with a well regarded and well known attorney in the area. He stated our lawyer could have giving us some money if we really needed before 1 year. It took 2 years before we could get our inheritance and estate closed. It was a simple estate, no back owed taxes and not alot of things or money. There were no complications to excuse. He just kept pitting us family against one another. Taken advantage of our strained relationship. I'd wont recommend nor use Mr. Ranney again.

Erin Ranney is a respected law attorney. She comes well prepared and argues law. She is sensitive, and hears everything. Mrs Ranney gets results...if not, u should appeal with her as your attorney. She is a peaceful force that understands the etiquette and how to get things done in Chesterfield County. Her reputation proceeds her.

The Ranneys provide excellent and affordable legal services. Paul provided us with detailed legal information by phone on two separate occaions, and was very accommodating of our elderly parents upon meeting us in person. I highly recommend Paul and Erin's firm.
