I came to Beth frustrated with a denial for surgery from my insurance company. She wrote a letter outlining the recommendation for surgery in cases like mine by 3 spine surgery societies, cited several studies in the medical literature supporting surgery, and detailed the responsibilities my insurance company had under ERISA law. With this evidence the intent to file a lawsuit was was indicated. The insurance company reversed their denial of my appeal before the external review process was finished. I found Beth to be professional, forthright and responsive to my questions and suggestions. She was refreshingly disarming and casual while simultaneously thoroughly familiar with the large quantity of documents I provided before my meeting with her and provided documentation to the insurance company that clearly demonstrated her depth of knowledge on the law and medical issues. But recently, my Mother fell ill, and I needed legal support to deal with Mother's estate as she was incapacitated. This was a critical and timely need. I sent an email to Beth, and she responded promptly and efficiently with a direct phone call to provide me guidance and then emailed subsequent paperwork, exactly what I needed. In fact, I had two times in one week during this unfortunate situation that required fast effort, in part because my sister had flown into town from out of state and had a limited time to address the situation and sign paperwork. Beth was awesome! She did exactly what we needed and was a solid resource for us!
