I went in for a consultation this morning and he was Completely careless about my situation and didn't really give me a good hear to understand, everything was in a hurry and the guy doesn't even look you in the eyes. I went to a second lawyer in a different firm afterwards and the difference was huge. Initial encounters with a lawyer are the first impressions that matter. Not the kind of review he'll like to see but we all have room for improvement.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE HIM FOR ANYTHING IMMIGRATION RELATED. He was our laweyr back in 2020 for my husbands case. He lied to use multiple times. He told us that he needed certain documents for the courts before a certain time frame which we gave him. As I was reading the form that he gave us, he actually had to have the forms way prior to that to be even filed in the courts otherwise they wouldn't accept them. He spoke with an immigration judge and made choices without even telling us. We were getting ready to go to court and speak with the immigration judge and then like a hour before court we get a call from Jose Loayza saying that the court was cancelled because he made an agreement with the immigration judge on his own without telling us. We contacted another immigration attorney would told us we could go after Jose Loayza in court we did not. We had already paid thousands of dollars to him and wanted nothing else to do with him. All we wanted was to finish my husbands immigration case. If you need an immigration lawyer go to another lawyer who's going to help you and not lie to you and just take your money. We did contact Jose Loayza about this back when it was happening and then he accused us of lying. DO NOT USE HIM AS A LAWYER.

I can't thank Loayza enough for helping me. They made the whole process way less stressful by explaining everything clearly and staying super organized. He was always quick to respond to my questions and gave me confidence. If you need a knowledgeable and supportive lawyer, I highly recommend them.
