I was skeptical about shockwave therapy before signing up for a treatment plan. I had been dealing with pain in my heal and feet for so long, that I had just accepted that this was my life now. However, as the sessions went on, I started thinking about the pain less and less and realized that I was feeling better for the first time in a long time. I'm so glad I found this option. So worth it to help me walk and stand pain free!!!

absolutely amazing!! We drive from 8 hours away to see Dr. Aj and we've tried to find any similar care closer and honestly it doesn't exist! (even when they also offer the same service on paper) 100% try the shockwave if you have pain especially in the neck and back, but he will tell you what could benefit you personally. You can feel that he truly wants people to get better which is so hard to find!

My so. Has been struggling with his feet for a few years and we tried everything from physical therapy to orthotics and then we heard about Dr. Ludlow. After just one treatment he was feeling so much better. He is now finished with treatments and he has t felt this good in years. Then I hurt my back and elbow and did the shockwave therapy and was able to heel so much more quickly with the treatments. We will be back for sure.

I've been struggling with plantar fasciitis for a few years. Anything more than a mid-paced walk was painful on my feet, no matter what footwear was involved. Dr Ludlow's shock wave therapy treatment on my feet drastically reduced the incident rate and the intensity. If I do feel anything in my feet, I wouldn't call it pain anymore, more like mild discomfort. Dr Ludlow is fun to talk to and the staff is delightful.

I have been seeing Dr. AJ consistently since end of Jan '25 for multiple issues. Initially I was intrigued to see what Shockwave therapy could do for chronic plantar fasciitis as regular pt was not quite making symptoms completely go away and I did not want a 3rd cortisone injection. Shockwave therapy did the trick with 4 sessions and at the same time treatment was begun on an injury sustained July '24 that resulted in a compression of L5 nerve in lower back that had greatly impacted lifestyle with total loss of balance on affected leg, unable to lift toes even 1/32" off the floor and neuropathy down exterior of leg, and entire foot. I had lost most of my control over my leg and foot. Again, the results of Shockwave therapy has allowed for GREAT improvement with this injury and I would estimate there has been 60% gain in all affected areas so far. The L5 injury led to a fall that caused shoulder and upper arm strain and tear that we have also been treating with Shockwave. The gains over regular pt exercises that I tried for the first 5 months after that injury did not come close to the immediate improvements I noticed once we started the Shockwave therapy. This therapy coupled with Hyperbarics is making a difference and I am confident I am finally on the way to complete recovery. My medical doctor pretty much said MRI and surgery was all they could offer for the L5 nerve issue or to just wait to see how much my nerve would regenerate on it's own, and it would be oh so slow. I am an active senior and want to maintain my physical abilities the best I can. The treatments offered at StrongLife Physiotherapy are worth exploring before consideration of surgery or having to accept limitations a condition or injury may have brought to your life.
