My experience with CFX was incredible and the results have been life-changing. The staff were kind and attentive. The space was very comfortable and relaxing. The food and snacks provided were excellent. They pay attention to every detail to make the most of the experience. It was encouraging to meet other people participating in treatment. I learned that I am not alone in struggles with brain fog, depression, and being unable to work. Since treatment I have experienced a complete turnaround and am now able to work, think critically, communicate effectively, and have seen a reduction in anxiety. If you are on the fence about rTMS, I highly recommend CFX. You will not regret it!

I came to Cognitive Fx from Washington, DC, following a 5-year battle with long COVID. It has been revelatory to learn that long COVID caused a mild TBI and that my brain injury is similar to concussion patients and others who have had severe head injuries. From the first (virtual) encounter with the team I felt confident that their research and methods were solid and would make a difference in my life. Once at the clinic, it was fascinating to learn - multiple times a day - about the specific areas of damage to my brain, how that aligned with my symptoms, and most importantly what I could do to help heal it. Hooray for neuroplasticity! The team at Cognitive FX is unbelievably professional, and they use state-of-the-art science and technology to help those of us who have been told there is no hope. The program is challenging and intense, but the team of skilled OT, NMT, and cognitive specialists is careful with how and when they push, and so very good about understanding the symptoms that we live with every day. I couldn't be more impressed with the program, and enjoyed meeting people from all over the world who managed to find it. I hope that the techniques and approaches are replicated by other medical professionals treating long COVID patients, and I hope this kind of care becomes more accessible. Two weeks can't fix this type of injury but it's amazing to see the diagnostic information that comes out of it, and I have a ton of confidence that using the customized rehab tools I learned here will help me improve over the next year. Highly recommend !

This clinic puts hope and fun into post-concussion syndrome recovery. How this clinic treats concussion should be the standard. They approach this injury with the know-how I would expect from any concussion clinic (but sadly is hard to find for post-concussion). There's no "magic sauce" and no "one-size-fits-all" approach. They use scientific, individualized methods to dissect the complex symptom picture of each patient--and then treat the parts in a coordinated way. They're the only clinic I found that has built a team of therapists across the key post-concussion-relevant domains, with many years of experience, making them very likely to have seen many of your symptoms before and knowing how to treat them. I am also very impressed with their diagnosis via imaging (I was sceptical since it's a new method but what they found through the scan did explain my symptoms well). If you have trouble affording the trip, one week of treatment is better than nothing (though 2 weeks give more time for identifying more causes of symptoms and ways to treat them making the treatment even more effective) and fundraising on social media goes a very long way! Many people come that way. P.S. It takes about 3-6 months to see the full effectiveness of the treatment. I will make an update in 6 months to say how my symptoms are then. (Right after treatment I am just feeling very tired so it's hard to say)

One year ago this week, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a patient of Dr. Fong and her amazing staff! I suffered a TBI the previous January by falling and hitting my head when it was icy on concrete steps. I would not be back to work and making the progress that I have without this program! I strongly recommend the 2 week. There was so much information/and individual treatment sessions that I don't think I could have processed everything in just one week. And the homework and continued at home follow up once home was excellent! Beyond Grateful for this life changing opportunity o

I wish I would have started here two years ago! All the therapists are in one location! I don't have to drive all over the state for appointments and in the end I have spent at least as much money! Thank you! Thank you! I am so impressed with the thoroughness and comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and care. The staff members are are incredible, helpful, knowledgeable, and able to meet us where we are at while also challenging us as much as possible to help our brains heal! I have felt so much gratitude for being involved in this program and for the validation of the others in my group. I am not making this up! My symptoms are real! If you have had an injury, insult, accident causing a possible concussion/TBI...get yourself to Cognitive FX!
