My divorce case was not complicated legally, but my ex-wife was extremely unreasonable and difficult. She found an aggressive law firm that encouraged her unreasonableness. Brandon was my 3rd attorney and picked up the case about two years and 10's of thousands of dollars into it. My previous attorney's were incompetent, non-responsive and easily bullied so Brandon did not have an easy job of picking up the pieces. At the point Brandon took over, my case was going nowhere fast. Brandon quickly got the situation under control and within a year the divorce was finalized with me getting exactly what I asked for 3 years prior. He researched diligently, let me know exactly what my rights were, and fought hard for me. I honestly don't even know how to describe his skillset. I honestly just think he's a great lawyer who acts with integrity and grit. After the case was settled, I had several more issues with the ex not adhering to deadlines, etc. Brandon talked me through how to handle the situation and kindly took the time to keep me going in the right direction. I can't say enough about this man and his firm. Highly recommend.

I did a general Google search to see who could do a free consult for some custody issues. When I called and talked to the receptionist, a female, I asked her about the free consult and said that Google led me straight to them. I read her the bio because she said they don't do it and all it talked about was free family law consult and she just laughed very rudely, and said "yeah have a great day" and hung up on me. I met Jake Cowdin through a friend when I was fearing going to mediation with my ex-husband. I don't know much about the law and I was worried about being prepared for the mediation. As soon as I met Jake, he was so calm and confident. I could feel my anxiety go away. He is so knowledgeable about the law. Every question I asked he was ready to answer with the law to back me up. He was quick to reply to emails or phone calls. I knew he was someone that I could trust and who would go into mediation to help me out. I felt very much prepared for mediation before it happened. He set out a plan and we were able to work well together. I didn't worry at all once we were in mediation. Jake knew what he was talking about and he proved it with the law.
