Very bad experience. Attorney didn't show up for a first appearance. Son sat in jail as an innocent person for 35 days. Hired a different attorney and things were settled in 2 days. When you call you never get a call back, they can never speak to you. As well as you get the run around. Not sure how long this attorney has been practicing but I don't recommend using them. Throw your money out the window- it will go to better use.

Not sure where to start, but most of the comments below really do summarize the professionalism and legal knowledge this team has. They answer the phones, every time, even after hours and on weekends! Rick Ruhl is incredibility focused, very tactical, and understands the legal process, he is a quite force at work. We had started the journey with a different firm, who will not be named, that sold us how experienced they were, suffice it say, they were not at all and only added more stress, confusion, and delay for our family. Our Juvenile (15yo) Son was facing very serious felony charges with the strong possibility of being charged as an Adult, and was in a detention center longer than the state protocol called for. We were frightened and in search of help when we were referred to Rick a month into it with no insight as to when and how he would be handled. Rick took my call on Saturday afternoon, and we retained the firm Monday morning. YES, we were that impressed with his explanation of the challenge and process we faced. We felt a level of understanding that we really were hoping to get in that one-hour meeting. Once retained, Rick saw to it that our son was released immediately to us with an ankle monitor, while Rick and his firm sorted out what could be done with the SA office. Bottom line, in less than 1 month after hiring the firm, Rick was able to mange it so the state dropped all charges! We feel honored and blessed that we found our way to this team, this is not an experience you would wish on anyone, but if you happen to need the help, these guys should be your first call!!!!

This law firm is a complete joke Rick Ruhl has been my ex wife's lawyer for going on 2 YEARS and I have not received one single reply from him or his assistant Julie Newton after many emails I originally offered my ex.Barbara Symanietz, everything just to be done and she is the one who filed . Rick said he would lose his license if he offered her that deal What??? How much more than everything do you want I then offered her to take the trucking business which we have. Again. Crickets I then asked this law firm. Especially Julie Newton to have Barb give a value to assets and then we make a deal Julie said she will go to trial What???? I have tried to settle this filing which Barb started for two years and this law firm seems confused Rick seems to be unable to understand basic law or something is wrong with his ability to understand what a negotiation is A divorce is not a one gets all ordeal and that's what I offered before I even got my own lawyer 2 years ago Now Julie is no better. She would rather waste barbs limited dollars by going to trial. For a divorce which I have been more than willing to settle Julie seems to think there's a huge pot of gold at the end This is the most ridiculous plan of attack by Ms Julie and Rick I wouldn't use this firm to shovel dirt I actually told Barb to find a better lawyer and I'm the one she wants a divorce from That's how ignorant Rick and Julie are Find good lawyers people

Want to put your money in the trash, here's the dumpster! This man is no good, he'll take your money and do nothing. Judge told him what to do and we go back to court and he didn't do it. Like he was going to out smart the judge. BE CAREFUL HERE!!

I cannot tell you enough how great Mr Ruhl is. I have dealt with him on the sidelines for years. Never the one in trouble, but always the one that has to deal with everything on the outside. He never leaves you to be buried on a desk. He is informative, a great communicator, and an amazing attorney. I have a great life with the ones I love because he was their attorney and refused to stop fighting for them. I highly recommend.
