If wasting your money for law services that do absolutely nothing is your goal then Bailey and Galyen is the law firm for you. I hired an attorney at this location and paid over five thousand five hundred dollars and the result was absolutely nothing. The only thing they managed to accomplish was sending documents to the other associated party. When we had the meeting with the lawyer about our case he (Keith) went in detail about how the case would proceed. Nothing happened even remotely how he said it would. Therefore he either lied right to our faces, or his paralegal was severely incompetent at their job. Whatever the reason is is irrelevant. If there was an issue in the case that prevented it from proceeding, this was never communicated to us. If we had the audacity to reach out the the law team about the status of our case we were charged for a simple phone call or email. Needless to say we terminated our services with the embarrassment of a law firm. Since we still had money from our retainer we were due a refund. Counting all the grains of sand on a beach would have been easier than working with the law team to refund our money. They dragged their feet and made endless excuses as to why they could not return our money. They only mailed us a check after we made public their incompetence. We have worked with a new law firm and there is a night and day difference in the level of effort and professionalism compared to Bailey and Galyen. Just because this law firm advertises itself as the "official law firm of the Texas Rangers" does not mean that they anywhere within the realm of a good law firm. The attorney from our case, the paralegal from our case, the entire Bailey and Galyen entity, and the Texas Rangers should be ashamed about the way they decide to conduct business. To say that everyone should avoid this law firm like the plague is an understatement. Words cannot express the utter and complete incompetence of everyone involved.

If you want to waste money and time, go for them. I worked with Laura Montenegro Paralegal and Keith Spencer Attorney. They didn't do anything for my family case, yet charged over 3000 dollars. Meaningless emails, missed calls and meaningless voicemails were charged from my deposit account. After stopping services with them on 6/19/25, I still haven't received the rest of my money back from the 5500 deposit. I've been calling the office, and the refund office and all I get is voicemails. 3 months and no refund, how much longer do I have to wait? I don't know! Please do not hire them, trust me, I'm trying to save you terrible headaches. Update: Hi Teresa Sanchez, here is proof that I stopped services June 19th, 2025. And yes, indeed after I posted the review on google, I was finally able to receive my deposit back on September 26th, 2025. Over 3 months from stopping business with this law firm.

I shouldn't have just ran with a recommendation. This lawyer talked to us like we were stupid when we did meet him, steamrolled over everything we said after 3500 dollars down, didn't accomplish anything we were asking for, didn't fully explain the agreement HE came to, AND wants an additional 2300 for doing literally nothing we asked for. Got an itemized receipt for SOME of the costs and learned they think an email with useless information that you didn't ask for is worth $20+. They willingly cut it down to 1600 with a time limit of 13 days before sending it to collections as if they earned ANY of what they're asking for. Honestly you're better off just learning the laws and doing it yourself instead. Save your money. The 2 stars is just because they got an emergency custody order after the 3500 within 2 weeks and we had our kids back.

I had the pleasure of working with Crystal from Bailey and Galyen and she was awesome. She is extremely professional but also personable at the same time and that is exactly what I, and many others are looking for. The world needs more people like her. I would highly recommend getting in contact with Crystal from Bailey and Galen!

Crystal Shirley out of the Weatherford office is very professional and is the best by far. She took care of my ticket quickly and the communication was excellent. She has my business in the future if ever needed again. I would highly suggest to anyone. Five stars most definitely!!
