This attorney is HORRIBLE...he is representing my husband being a court appointed lawyer. Since assigned to us we have called him SEVERAL times and never ONCE answered any calls or returned calls. We had a month to talk about his case before the next court date and never could get a hold of him. On the day of Court he met with us in the hall way of the courthouse and all he had to say was what do u want to do! Never explained anything or tried to help in any way! I thought that was why u had a lawyer to explain things to u and HELP u! He is no help at all, like u might as well just represent yourself! Please DO NOT use this lawyer if u want to win your case! Or even try to get a better pley bargain cause he will NOT help u! He is the WORST court appointed lawyer I have ever seen, I understand we are not paying him but he is suppose to still help u!

I have NEVER been treated so poorly than by the secretary, Julie. She must be family or she represents the attorney, Clay's personality. I can't speak to how good of an attorney he is since I've not been able to get in touch with him. So they think this is ethical behavior for an attorneys office?? Sincerely, she was the most off putting person I've ever spoke to on a business phone call and I'm calling the state board in the morning to file a complaint on this office. When people's lives are on the line, there will be family involved and as the clients attorney you should empathize with all involved. When I say she was RUDE, it was through no fault of my own. I asked ONE question and was hung up on. Literally. Hung.up. on. This was my FIRST phone call to them so not like I've been bugging them at all. This makes me question the entire Franklin county justice system that they would appoint an attorney with such horrible staff and client relations skills that are documented on Google and else where. How can we trust they are doing their job to the fullest if we can't even ask a question. Mind you, my question was not client or case related but just an inquiry about availability of the attorney. What's the big deal about it. God forbid if Julie ever finds herself in a life and death situation and is treated the way that she treats others. Since similar reviews have been posted going back years, this must be an ongoing and condoned behavior by the attorney. Frightening realization!!. I have documented this phone call and this review, should my family member be treated poorly by the court appointed attorney. Very sad, Unethical, immoral and gross.

Per this attorneys own secretary, who was VERY rude, they do not care. The attorney will only talk to his client the day of seeing the judge and only right before. He will not see his client before then and doesn't actually care to about the best interest of his client. This does not give his clients the best representation. This is POOR representation. This is unethical behavior. When they have clients who have any kind of PTSD, mental or emotion issues of any level, it is VITAL that the attorney actually cares about their client, and treats them and meets with them as such prior to the day of seeing a judge. Again, his secretary said they do not care. This attorney needs to answer to the Texas State Bar Association and there needs to be laws in place protecting clients against this behavior.

I needed a Lawyer to handle a family issue. Drove to Johnson Law Firm only to see a "Harris/Walz" sign in their front office yard, won't be using this firm....ever!

I tried talking to him about my son case and he was very rude and unprofessional. I've never been treated so disrespectful in my life please be careful in considering him as your lawyer
