CALL AT YOUR OWN RISK CONSULTATION IS NOT FREE. I initially contacted this law firm after a car accident, seeking advice and a free consultation. During the process, I was asked to sign several documents, including one that unknowingly gave them the right to represent me and take 35% of my settlement. I did not realize this until one of there attorneys call me saying they were representing me. I immediately rejected representation and let him know that I never wanted to be represented. Can you believe that this lawyer tried to manipulate me into signing my settlement so that they could get a portion? He sent me the letter of non-representation that I requested from the first phone call when I told him I didn't want to be represented. The letter stated that they would retain there 35% in the case, so I call him and asked why would they get anything if they literally did no work, he tried to say that it would only be the case if I got a new lawyer and to go ahead and sign the settlement on my own and send it to them to confirm I settled on my own. I went ahead and did but I didn't sign the offer and of course they flipped it and said no we will actually take the 35%. He tried to manipulate me into trying to sign that document so they could get a portion of my settlement for NO WORK DONE. They then stopped accepting my calls and responding to my emails. This has been a frustrating experience, and I would caution others to read all documents carefully before signing and be wary of unexpected fees. It is extremely clear that upper management is only focused on money, they ARE NOT looking out for anyone.

My accident was on August 21, 2019 and still trying to get a resolution! I was very happy with my service at the start of my case but being six years and two months is unacceptable! A month ago, this case was supposedly settled and didn't have to go to trial, which was good but, now after a month of a supposed settlement I'm still waiting for a close to my case! Now, I'm being told the holdup to settlement of medical bills, which I'm being told can take 6 to 8 weeks? I understand my case is not a huge case for Daspit Law Firm, but I deserve final resolution after more than 6 years!! Enough is enough, so if you're looking for a law firm with attention to timely action and Resolution, I'm not sure if Daspit Law Firm should be your choice!

I had hired Daspit an soon realized it was a mistake as they were trying to make me travel on the same rode I had my wreck on , also over an hour distance to go to there special chiropractor that they bragged about him being the one that helps the spurs players lol. I expressed my concern of driveing that far ecpically 2-3 days after the wreck they said they couldn't find anything closer . For these reasons along with non existent communication,I decided an canceled an went with another lawyer that worked with me an found a chiropractor 30 mins away an the opposite direction so I did not have to travel along same route I had my wreck on . Now 3 years later I have received my payout from the insurance but cannot be pay out due to daspit holding the case up an dragging there feet to try to get paid for work they haven't an never have done.DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSNIESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THIS IS MY FIRST STEP IN MANY OF MAKEING CONPLAINTS. END MY CASE AN PLEASE RELEASE ME YALL DID NOT HELP ME IN ANY WAY IN FACT I SHOULD SUE FOR TRYONG TO FORCE ME TO DRIVE ALONG THE SAME ROUTE AN HAVEING TO RELIVE THE MOMENT OF THAT WRECK AGIAN ONLY DAYS AFTER

Daspit Law went head to head with Evil, Inc. on a repetitive stress injury case. It was an uphill battle against a company that would gladly spend a million dollars to avoid paying a single dime to acknowledge they were responsible for my injuries. My expectations were low, and I would have been grateful to just get my hand fully functional again. In the end, my injuries were treated, and they still managed to make them pay. Thank y'all, Daspit, and thank you, James Ramsey. Truly.

Honestly terrible communication. I have been recommend to file a grievance with Texas Bar association and I defiantly am. I would give them zero stars If I could.
