First off they are a very friendly couple, but there were issues that caused our case to drag on and on. First off we were new to the lawyer usage and it was a huge eye opener. Get everything writing. We were quoted cost and time of case and it turned out to be double on both accounts. Anything you do, call, email, send payments etc costs a fee. So make sure you get everything done at the time of contact. Second when you are quoted a retainer fee, know that that fee must be maintained in the bank at all times. Apparently the judicial system works very slowly so be prepared. I would recommend them for any local issues but just go in with the knowledge that time is money.

I don't recommend this attorney. After being quoted $270 an hour for consultations, I was charged $370 for 52 minutes because I sent documents that he didn't even read prior to or after our visit. The advice stunk and I was not told anything helpful. I could have gotten better advice for free. Update: The owner's response is dishonest. I sent over a home inspection and contract that was not anywhere near 100 pages worth of reading. It was a specific issue with plumbing and the purchase of a home. The pages I did send were not even read and that is the point - he charged me for pages he did not even review at all!

Hal is a good, honest person who works hard for his clients. I have known his wife, Tracey, her whole life and know she is one of the most honet people you will ever meet. They are wonderful people.
