I am wrapping a family law matter with the help of the Carlson law firm. Cheryl Powell(Miller) is a fantastic attorney who is patient and explains the process before we began and reassured me as it went along. I am glad I had her in my corner as well as her team. Karen Fernandez is a paralegal at the law firm and she also was patient and clear through the process. I only regret not addressing this issue sooner because they were incredibly helpful and I highly recommend them. Their customer service is top notch every single time I call or email them.

I never was in a mindset of retaining a Firm or Lawyer. Then came, a challenge in a Family Law Custody case that had me up against a wall. When I acknowledged it would be difficult to get the results of an adoption without representation, I sought out an attorney. Since this was a State of Texas CPS case, the State handled the paper work and filings for adoption, but they could not represent me. I didn't have a voice in the court. I needed someone to keep the bad-actors at bay. That's where I brought in Cheryl Powell. She reviewed my documents and listen to me. During the hearing she got a sense of what were the obstacles of the case and she and her team address those issues. She and Emily communicated to me, what would be needed to keep the case moving forward in getting the adoption to finalization. She is well connected in that network and she engaged and worked with the Courts and other agencies. The retainer was monies well spent and on target. Cheryl involved herself in the final proceeding of the adoption and was in place for the whole thing in Family Court of Travis County. Even documenting it with photos. Thanks to all of her team: Emily Spjut, Karen Fernandez, Berlin Lopez-Rodriguez, Amabilys Lopez, and Neville Gobey, For getting the desired results. I hope I'll not need their services again, but if I do, my first call will be to Her and her team.
