Called for a quick consultation for a vehicle accident. An attorney answered the call and very happily heard to all my details, recommended the steps to take and advised on it confirming his services would not be needed right now. Amazing people!

I called Manchee and Manchee late one afternoon for consultation but received voicemail. Jim called me back around 5 pm. While he was unable to take my case, he did spend the time directing me to next steps. Greatly appreciate the assistance and would highly recommend.

Honestly, a really great guy. I called to schedule a consultation for help with an accident and I guess it was small enough that he just answered all of my questions on the phone and pointed me in the right direction! Stark difference between this firm and another (highly reviewed on Google) firm I called who just stopped himself mid sentence, said "good luck buddy", and hung up! So yeah, I hope I never have an accident big enough that I need a lawyer for, but if I do, I know who to go to!

Previously, I left only left low stars but no review, but since then, they have decided to engage with me via this review and by telephone demanding I remove this, I will now fully tell the story. I am a member of a MetLife Legal plan and recently I was served with papers regarding an old debt by a "creditor" or collections that I have never done business with. Therefore, I utilized MetLife Legal Plan to find an attorney. The first option they provided was Manchee & Manchee. It clearly states that Debt Collection Defense is one of their services. (See first image below) In the response below he states that he is not responsible for third party sites (I might add that he chose to participate in and be a member of that network), okay fine! But even on his own website, he also suggests the same service. This is a bit misleading. (See second image in blue). I went to the "office" here in Arlington, Texas to establish a client relationship. There were two receptionist at the front desk. I told them my situation and they advised me "this is a virtual office and he does not really come in to this location." She told me I could leave the service papers there and they would give them to him to look at and he would get back with me. They were copies of the original, so I did not mind. I also called the "office" and left a voice mail about what transpired at the Arlington "office". He sends a me text message and calls frantically saying he does not offer debt collection defense. I was said fine and went back to the so called "office" and picked up the copies and that was it. I was a bit perturbed by the misleading website offerings so I left two stars and nothing more was said on here. Last week I receive a call from MetLife stating Mr Manchee has complained about my two stars and demanded I removed them. That is the trigger for how all this has devolved into this situation. I have been a marketing and public relations professional for 25 years and this firm seems to struggle with how to handle consumer relations and other public discourse. I would be happy to remove this if he was a bit more honest about his offerings or at least apologized. In the end, I have a limited window here and went ahead and filed my own Answer to the JP court pro se. I have also found legal council since then as well.

This firm has been amazing! Constant communication, great negotiation for their clients, and quick turnaround!! I had a very short timeframe to be able to relocate out of my current residence due to domestic assault and their compassion was above and beyond. Jim treated me so much empathy and support knowing my situation. I was a client, but they made me feel like family and I will cherish that and and truly blessed and grateful to have worked with such amazing firm!!!!
