Client Testimonials

Client

I am extremely disappointed in the way District Attorney Noel Cooper has handled cases in Nacogdoches County. Mr. Berry is a legally blind Black man with severe mental illness. There is no DNA, fingerprint, or physical evidence linking him to the crime he was accused of. Surveillance video shows he never entered the residence. Despite this, Mr. Cooper pursued charges, pressured him with a 6-year plea deal, and supported a $150,000 bond while denying bond for failure to appear -- even though his disability contributed to missing court. When Mr. Berry requested a new attorney due to poor representation, Noel Cooper opposed it and pushed forward with the case. This is not justice -- it is overreach, coercion, and a violation of civil rights. Our community deserves a prosecutor who seeks truth and fairness, not just convictions. Mr. Cooper's actions show a lack of integrity and compassion, especially toward vulnerable, disabled defendants. I urge voters, advocacy groups, and oversight bodies to take notice. This is not the kind of leadership we need in our justice system.

Mr. Cooper acts as if it's a bother if your locked up if you want to have an in person visit with him before your court date to reduce your bond. He will eventually return your calls but he will treat you rudely and act like he Could care less if you may have something to tell him that could help your case. I guess if your court appointed an atty. Then your not as important as if your paying. Idk. But looks like you'd want to discuss a strategy with your client. Especially if they have been wrongly arrested and your civil rights are violated. Js In response to his response, Mr Cooper, you weren't ask for you to share any information with me. You never answer your phone, and you have no legal assistant or anyone to leave a message with. You have no idea what I wanted you just choose to ignore me, tho you know by the message I left on answer machine, I was calling for Billy since he can not call you and you never go visit him. You should be trying to get him off of this charge. But that would require discussing somethings with him and you don't want to do that.

Client

So this is what you do to all of the clients that need your help but because you don't know me you thought it would be ok to take my money $1500.00 and not help my husband with his case like you stated you would after you took my money but scamming has just got your license investigated. I want my money back in FULL! Your plan was to scam my family from the beginning. I will be contacting the news, the bar and the police now you have the right person. WOW I have never seen anything like this BUT that is what so called lawyers do that don't have a backbone to stand up in court to plead a case have to do scam.

Client

Nicolas Olivarez hired him, please RUN...you are better off representing yourself in a divorce hearing!!! I provided ALL the documents requested for a divorce along with a letter stating my most important issues regarding visitation with my daughter....I was requesting to have my daughter the two weeks I'm home from work and for the Court to review my child support order due to the decrease in pay....well, when we had a court hearing those issues were not brought up; he never ONCE fought for me...WASTE of your hard earn money..PLEASE RUN!! it was a hassle to get him to return my calls, I had to contact someone who knew him to receive a call back...unprofessional!

Client

Noel cooper I truly don't have enough BAD things to say about this man. Trust the reviews!! He doesn't even have one employee in his office and that was my first red flag. What reputable attorney doesn't have a legal assistant and or a secretary? This man yelled at me and went months without responding to me. He missed a hearing and never notified me of said hearing. How does that happen as an attorney who I would assume visits the courthouse often? I asked him for months to draw up final divorce papers, but not once could he get that RIGHT either. Instead he just wanted me to come in again and waste money when nothing had changed. His emails were absolutely horrendous, almost as if my 9 year old child has responded to me. Then he dropped me 2 weeks before our final hearing (again which he did not notify me of said hearing, my husbands attorney had to the week before). He also has this reputation with his peers as I met with a few other attorneys in the process, and they all had the same thing to say about him. Now he is running for district judge... laughable. Truly laughable. Also how do you switch from the Democratic ticket to Republican? He ran for district judge as a democrat in 2020 and LOST. He's trying his luck again on the republican ticket. You're not fooling us.... DONT VOTE FOR NOEL!
