Terrible Experience - Only Care About Billing, Not Clients! Hiring North Texas Attorney was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. From day one, it became clear that all they cared about was billing every two weeks, not helping me or adding any real value to my case. Despite paying regularly, there was little to no progress. They constantly came up with excuses or unnecessary "tasks" just to justify another invoice. My assigned attorney, James Giries, even missed a critical hearing that I hired them specifically to handle because he went on vacation, and no one from the firm took responsibility. I made every effort to ensure that hearing occurred, but they completely failed to show up. Afterward, the firm kept sending bills through Priscila Maldonado, who always made sure new invoices came in, even when nothing meaningful was done. Because of their negligence, the court eventually dismissed the suit I filed and moved straight to final trial. That's when I realized I had to take control of my case. I immediately fired them and decided to represent myself as a pro se, and I actually achieved better results on my own than they ever did. Looking back, I regret ignoring the negative reviews before hiring them. I thought maybe those reviews were exaggerated until I experienced the exact same thing myself. They prolong your case just to keep billing you and drain your finances. When you can't pay anymore, they drop your case. If you want to waste money, time, and energy while your case goes nowhere, hire them. But if you truly care about your case and your peace of mind, run from this firm. I have documentation and proof of everything I've stated here. This experience taught me a major lesson, never again.
