Great if you want high conflict, settle at all costs mediation. Some of the information was never even relayed to the other party. Sam's goal is to get a signed settlement and he will say whatever he needs to say to get that. He maintains a spreadsheet of the financials that he will not share with you during the process. In my case, a critical number that was clearly provided and discussed was somehow changed during the course of the mediation. He tried to blame us by saying that was the number we gave him for the mortgage amount but that was completely untrue. It created a discrepancy that ended up costing me about $15k minimum. I strongly recommend finding someone who will work collaboratively to get to a result that best for the family as a whole and not someone who just wants to get a signature on papers and move on.
