We went to Mr. Dayton, on two occasions, for consultations regarding an encroachment issue on our property. He was calm and straightforward. His advice to us was frank and to the point. It was not necessarily what we wanted to hear. But, in fact, it was exactly what we wanted to hear. The last thing we wanted was to be led down the primrose path with wishful thinking (that could have been very costly). He offered very good advice, regarding things we could do ourselves to try and reconcile the issue (costing himself business in the process). We pursued his advice vigorously. We do not give repeat business to people we do not have confidence in. Mr. Dayton stays, definitively, on our list of preferred professionals.

Unfortunately, I was in a situation that I needed a lawyer for advice for my small business. I was intimidated even needing a lawyer.
