If I could give negative stars, I would!! My experience with Kelso Law was a complete nightmare. I reached out to them in December of 2024 and I was initially assigned an attorney who was very helpful and said he'd find an expert to review my case. As my case progressed with him, it all seemed to be going great. Then, suddenly, everything changed for the worse! Out of the blue, I received a call from someone named Jessica, an assistant from the firm. She began asking me random questions about my case that I had already answered in detail with my attorney. When I asked why she was contacting me instead of my attorney, she casually told me he had been removed from my case. This was the first time she had mentioned it the entire call and I only found out because I asked. Looking back, that lack of communication should've been my first red flag. Jessica then told me that the head attorney Rhiannon Kelso would be handling my case moving forward and she'd be assisting her. She also said we'd have to start everything over from scratch which was incredibly frustrating. In my opinion, Jessica was painfully slow, disorganized, and careless. Then after what felt like a waste of five months of my life, I finally spoke to Rhiannon Kelso. She was 24 minutes late to the call and in my opinion seemed unfamiliar with my case, interrupted me frequently, and raised her voice at me a few times. After about 40 minutes, she informed me that the firm wouldn't move forward due to the financial cost of expert fees--something that, in my opinion, should've been communicated months earlier. As I understand it, all medical and dental malpractice cases require experts. If you look at their negative reviews, I believe most of them mention Rhiannon Kelso by name which I'm not surprised by. In my opinion, she lacked professionalism and empathy. To me their responses to negative reviews also seem to be copy and pasted, with no real accountability. That says everything. While no law firm can take every case, how you treat people during the process matters. In my experience, Kelso Law failed at every step. I would never recommend them to anyone!
