I cannot speak highly enough about Attorney Michael Wilson and his outstanding legal team--Sherry Cooper and Grayson Ford. From the very beginning, their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care set them apart from any legal representation I've ever encountered. Attorney Wilson is an extraordinary attorney--sharp, strategic, and deeply knowledgeable. He approached my case with unwavering focus and confidence, always keeping me informed and involved at every step. What impressed me most was his ability to break down complex legal matters into clear, understandable terms. He didn't just represent me--he empowered me. Equally impressive was the team that supported him. Both Grayson and Sherry demonstrated the same high level of dedication, responsiveness, and attention to detail that reflects the exceptional standards set by their leader. Whether it was managing documents, coordinating communication, or ensuring deadlines were met, they were consistently professional, prompt, and thorough. What truly set this team apart, however, was the human touch. From the warm and welcoming receptionist Ms. Vivian to the incredibly supportive legal assistants Ashley and Bethany, every single person I interacted with treated my family and me with compassion, respect, and genuine care. I was never just a case number--I was seen, heard, and supported as a person navigating a stressful and uncertain time. Thanks to their tireless advocacy and commitment, my case had a successful outcome--one that exceeded my expectations. I am beyond grateful for everything they did, and I would recommend Attorney Wilson and his remarkable team without hesitation to anyone in need of legal representation. They are truly in a league of their own.

I was referred to Attorney Michael Wilson by a good friend, and I hesitated to post this review because of that connection. However, I feel it's important to share my experience. At first, everything seemed fine. Mr. Wilson assured me that a $5,000 retainer would be enough to close my case for good and cover the final hearing, which was the only one I had left. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. Throughout the process, communication was minimal. I received only one email reply, and we spoke a few times, but I never felt like Mr. Wilson fully understood or was prepared for my case. When I had questions, they often went unanswered or was told he would reach back out. On the day of my final hearing, after I had been working to resolve unexpected court fees, that I was not aware about or told, Mr. Wilson left me with his associate, Mr. Ford. To his credit, Mr. Ford did the best he could under difficult circumstances, and he stood by me until the end. Even though the judge was tough on me, I ultimately won my case due to the other parent not showing up and my children's statements--not because of strong representation from Mr. Wilson. In many ways, I felt like I was fighting for myself, despite already paying thousands. One of the main issues was attorney fees. The judge granted that the other party would cover my legal fees, yet Mr. Wilson's office still billed me over $2,000 on top of the $5,000 retainer. After waiting some time for a finalized bill, I was surprised of the additional fee's. Remember I had final court and he stated $5000 was enough or more to get this close case, so Mr. Wilson told me over the phone. The total ended up being billed for over $7,000, and considering I mostly had to fight for myself, I cannot say the work justified the cost. I've waited to submit this review because I was concerned it might make things worse for another person I referred, who is already having a hard time and being billed a ridiculous amount. Seeing how the case is being affected, and how scared the person is that the attorney could harm her outcome, pushed me to speak out. This is the reality of attorneys taking advantage--while single hard-working parents like myself are left with crushing bills. Judges and attorneys seem to give little regard to our families. All we want is for our children to be taken care of and to move forward, yet instead we're forced to fight and fall into debt. I understand legal fees are part of the process, but for a single final hearing that ended in a default win, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I want to acknowledge Ms. Sherry, who was always professional and responsive. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Mr. Wilson. The lack of communication, unclear billing, and reliance on an associate attorney I never agreed to hire left me feeling unsupported and frustrated by now having to pay two attorneys. In my opinion, this experience was terrible. I was billed for over $7,000 and still had to fight for myself. Even the judge asked the associate attorney if they had looked in my case. This made me feel fear after seeing Mr. Ford's facial expressions of confusion. I truly believe I could have achieved the same result without representation. To anyone considering this firm, my advice is: get everything in writing, pay close attention to what is said verbally versus what is written in the contract, and keep in mind that even unanswered emails may be billed. This system is broken, and unfortunately my experience with this attorney only confirmed that. Nataly

I retained Mr. Michael Wilson to represent me in a divorce that started about 9 months ago. My experience has been that he has routinely failed to return phone calls, reply to emails, advise me in timely manner of hearings, followed up on matters pertaining to the case in a timely manner, and worked to move the case forward. Yesterday, I complained about it, and his response was to just quit. He followed up on that by sending me a motion to the court that seems to effectively blame me for his poor performance. His motion states that there is "good cause" for him to withdraw and implies that this is because he is unable to communicate with me as if this is somehow my fault. I've been reasonable and more than patient. And, along the way, he's blamed things on his staff which seems to turn over at a very high rate. So, draw your own conclusions from that as well as what I've written about my experience. Last comment: When I found this firm, it seemed to be located in Cleburne which is what I wanted since that it the location of the court where the divorce was filed. It seems that actually this firm was purchased by some larger, high-falutin firm out of Dallas.
