My experience with Welch Law Firm and Mr. Welch regarding my QDRO (Qualified Domestic Relations Order) case has been very disappointing. From the start, communication has been inconsistent and unreliable. I was given specific dates and times when I would receive updates, yet those commitments were not kept. On one occasion, my granddaughter rearranged her schedule to be present for a scheduled call, only for us to find out--without any prior notice--that Mr. Welch was in court and unavailable. This lack of communication caused unnecessary inconvenience for both of us. I understand that court obligations and delays can happen, but as a client, I believe it is a basic professional responsibility to honor your word or at least communicate in advance if plans change. Too often, I was left following up myself to get information that should have been provided proactively. Clear, timely communication is critical in legal matters--especially in something as important as a QDRO--and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. I expected better organization, respect for my time, and follow-through on promises made.
