Attorney for divorce, but was also supposed to be helping in step parent adoption. Allowed the father to terminate rights/support without final adoption hearing leaving me alone to support son. I have been bounced back and forth by OAG court and his office for 10 years to find out he based it all on father's affadavit that there was a potential adoptive parent, my boyfriend at the time? Divorce was not supposed to be finalized wiithout adoption hearing, which maybe why the attorney cut contact and filed nunc pro 6 months later. No one will even try to fix this and other attorneys seem to think this was one of the cases that caused Texas to shift toward demanding 2 parent responsibility. It has caused enormous stress & suffering on our family, it ripped us apart for 3 years after. My son was cheated out of a father & due process.
